Time management and creative flow have a love and hate relationship. The plan was to be finished with this catalogue by the 16th of July because I’m also trying to make space for another creative project in the background.

About six pieces didn’t make it and three of the sets were taken apart a few times. This is the process until they seem finished or presentable to the point where I can make them available. I never believe my pieces are ever finished, but at some point one has to make the call to stop and move on.

Obsessing over and over on tiny details without moving forward will only drive a person mad.

I appreciate that my textile earring making is making me comfortable with the idea of stepping back, observing and then letting go. (Teaching me.)

At the moment I’m loving the idea of giving my pieces royal titles because they are supposed to evoke a sense of pride when you wear them. AND, of course, they are one of a kind.

My heart was full!
